Regardless of the device, the CompTIA A+ credential is performance-based and signifies the ability to provide users with the information they need to complete their tasks. One common pathway into the information technology industry is the CompTIA A+ certification, which is a broadly accepted standard within the sector. It is issued by the Association for Information Technology.

CompTIA certifications are an excellent starting point for IT certifications. These serve as the foundation for both your future certifications and your IT career. CompTIA credentials are among the most prevalent in the IT industry, with numerous individuals holding them. The majority of IT jobs require a certain set of fundamental skills, which these certifications prove you are proficient in. Having this certification is a great way to demonstrate to potential employers that you have a solid foundation and are ready for whatever lies ahead.

How Is CompTIA A+ Worth?

  • Higher Salary

The CompTIA A+ certification will increase your earning potential whether you are currently employed in IT or are looking to enter the field at an entry-level. IT workers are among the highest-paid workers in the world, and their job security is unmatched by that of any other sector. If you have a CompTIA A+ on your resume, it will impress your potential employer, even though getting a job in IT depends on many intricate factors.

  • Developed by IT Professionals

This CompTIA A+ certification was created by IT specialists, and it is updated and reviewed regularly as new findings are considered significant by the industry. Despite its establishment in 1993, you won't have to worry about learning outdated material or whether you should be concentrating on more recent information.

A team of diverse IT specialists has ensured that the CompTIA A+ curriculum meets employer requirements and equips you with the necessary skills to join the IT workforce in the modern era. Not only is it a vendor-neutral certification, but it also provides you with comprehensive knowledge that applies to any hardware or software brand.

  • Commitment to Career

This level of CompTIA A+ certification amply demonstrates to superiors and colleagues your commitment to your career. You've spent time, money, and effort learning about the most recent advancements in the IT sector and building the strong foundation you need to succeed in your line of work.

Getting a CompTIA A+ is a significant accomplishment since exam preparation can take days or even weeks. Your commitment to this program demonstrates that you can only advance from there. Knowing that this professional credential sets you apart from the competition, you can proudly display it.

  • Networking

Writing a strong resume, applying to reputable companies, possessing the required training, experience, and certifications, and networking with the right people are all essential to landing a job. For professional growth and access to opportunities you might not otherwise find, networking is crucial.

A strong network of like-minded people who are all driven to succeed in IT is formed by the CompTIA A+. Through social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Reddit, you can connect with your peers and learn about their activities. Who knows, maybe one of them will even lead you to a position that will change your life.

What Our CompTIA A+ Practice Exam Includes

Let’s take an overview of our practice examination.

Overall, when it comes to the homepage of our website, what catches your eyes, at first sight, are two main sections: “Practice CompTIA A+ Test By Topics” and “Take Full CompTIA A+ Practice Test”. To meet the learners’ needs, the former functions as learning materials that are categorized into different topics or domains covering nearly CompTIA A+ knowledge for practice. The latter mimics the real exam to check learners’ outcomes and create a chance for a mock test before taking the real one.

Practice CompTIA A+ Test By Topics

The practice exam is the collection of multiple-choice items and falls into two core domains (domain 220 - 1101 and domain 220 - 1102):

Exam domains 220-1101:

  • Mobile devices: installing and setting up computers and mobile devices
  • Networking: connection and network types (TCP/IP, WiFi, SOHO, etc.)
  • Hardware: recognizing, utilizing, and attaching hardware components and devices.
  • Virtualization and cloud computing: evaluating cloud concepts and implementing client-side virtualization.
  • Hardware and network troubleshooting: resolving problems with networks and devices.
  • Bonus 1101 questions: additional items for practicing domain 1101.

Exam domains 220–1102:

  • Operating systems: setting up and utilizing Windows; comprehending Mac OS, Linux, and smartphone OS.
  • Security: recognizing and defending against weaknesses in networks and devices.
  • Software troubleshooting: fixing problems with mobile and PC apps, as well as security assistance.
  • Operational procedures: optimum standards for professionalism, long-term viability, security, and interactions.
  • Bonus 1102 questions: additional items for practicing domain 1102.

Within each domain, there are different numbers of questions and levels. However, they share the same number of tests, comprising 2 tests, a mini one and a final one. We can divide the process of learning into 2 stages. Stage 1 involves the first 2 or 3 levels and a mini-test. Stage 2 includes the remaining levels and a final test. Each level involves 10 multiple-choice items. The mini-test comprises roughly 30 questions covering knowledge of the whole first stage. The final test synthesizes all questions from previous levels to check learners' memory.

Remember! Our results recording system will notify you of the results you have achieved after your first attempt, for example, 7/10. However, you must answer all questions correctly to be allowed to move to the next level. Hence, you are allowed to do it again more than once and the false questions will automatically return until you correct all of them. Of course, if you are confident in any topic, you can skip levels and move to the mini-test or the final test at hand. You are considered to have passed the exams if your score is 675 out of 900 for the 220 - 1101 exam and 700 out of 900 for the 220 - 1102 exam.

An extremely appreciated feature of our website is that after each question in the practice section, learners will immediately know whether their results are correct or incorrect. Furthermore, there will be an extremely detailed explanation for the question, which is right below the question section.

Take the Full CompTIA A+ Practice Test

After practicing proficiently in the practice section introduced above, learners can choose a "full test" to check their current level. The CompTIA A+ exam simulates the real exam format.

The test includes 180 multiple-choice questions within 3 hours. Contestants will take the test within the allotted time frame. The test is passed when the test taker answers at least 675 out of 900 points. The clock placed right above the question section helps test takers be proactive in managing their exam time.

An outstanding feature is that test takers will not immediately know the results of each question in this part like in the practice one. After completing all the questions and receiving the final results, test takers will have the opportunity to review all the questions to see which ones they got right and which ones they got wrong. Detailed explanations for the answers are also attached right below each question. This helps test takers review knowledge more deeply and gain experience for the next test, especially in the real exam.

For convenience of use, we also released a mobile version of the application. Operations in the phone application remain the same as on the website. The only difference is that after completing the questions, you must click “Submit” to receive the final results of the test.

Practicing before taking any exam is extremely necessary. Finding a reputable and effective learning source is even more important. Each choice you make can determine success or failure. Trust me! The CompTIA A+ practice exam will accompany you on the path to achieving certification.
